All 4 prestige layers explained — unlock requirements, what resets vs what stays, optimal timing, and the rebuild order after each prestige in Noob Incremental.

How Prestige Works in Noob Incremental

🔄

Reset

Oof + Upgrades + Noobs

All current progress resets to zero. You start the next run from scratch.

💎

Keep

Runes + Tokens + Layer Currency

Runes, Enchant Tokens, and all Layer Currency bonuses survive every prestige.

📈

Gain

Permanent Layer Bonus

Layer Currency multiplier permanently boosts all future Oof production.

All 4 Noob Incremental Prestige Layers

1

Base Layer

Unlock: Start of game

Reward: Core loop: Noobs → Oof → Upgrades

Buy Noobs, generate Oof, purchase upgrades. No reset mechanic at this stage. Focus on maxing Noob Production and Click Power.

2

Rune Layer

Unlock: First Layer Gate (10,000 Oof)

Reward: Unlocks Rune rolling with Tickets

First prestige resets all Oof and upgrades but grants Layer Currency that permanently boosts production. Unlocks the Rune system and Ticket economy.

3

Synergy Layer

Unlock: Second Layer Gate

Reward: Rune Synergy + enhanced multipliers

Second prestige grants a larger Layer Currency bonus. Unlocks Rune Synergy upgrades that boost all equipped runes. Rebuilding is faster due to accumulated bonuses.

4

Endgame Layer

Unlock: Third Layer Gate

Reward: Final scaling mechanics

Third prestige unlocks endgame scaling. Layer Currency from all previous resets compounds. Automation upgrades become critical for efficient rebuilds.

Pre-Prestige Checklist for Noob Incremental

Do NOT prestige until you have completed all items below. A rushed prestige wastes time on a weak Layer Bonus.
1

Max out all cheap upgrades

Upgrade levels increase your Layer Currency reward. Every purchased upgrade contributes to the prestige bonus calculation.

2

Accumulate as many Noobs as possible

Noob count directly affects Layer Bonus multiplier. More Noobs = stronger post-prestige start in Noob Incremental.

3

Spend all Tickets on Rune rolls

Runes survive prestige. Roll before resetting so you start the next run with good runes equipped.

4

Activate all Potions

Potion durations do not pause during prestige. Use them to speed up your rebuild after the reset.

5

Hit the Oof threshold for the Layer Gate

Each Layer Gate requires a minimum Oof amount. You cannot prestige without reaching the gate threshold.

Post-Prestige Rebuild Order

After prestige in Noob Incremental, follow this rebuild sequence for the fastest recovery:

  1. 1Redeem any unused codes for free Tickets and Potions.
  2. 2Buy Noobs immediately — your Layer Currency bonus makes early Noobs produce far more Oof than before.
  3. 3Purchase Click Power first (cheapest production upgrade at 50 Oof base cost).
  4. 4Rush Noob Production next — it has the best ROI in early game.
  5. 5Buy Oof Multiplier once you can afford it (500 Oof base cost).
  6. 6Skip Automation until your income is stable — manual clicking is faster early.
  7. 7Invest in Rune Synergy once you have Rare+ runes equipped.
  8. 8Save for the next Layer Gate only after maxing production upgrades.

Prestige Timing Rule of Thumb

Layer Bonus after prestige: 1.5× + (Noob Count × 0.01)

Post-prestige starting rate: Current Oof/sec × Layer Bonus × 0.1

Prestige if: Layer Bonus ≥ 2.0× (i.e., 50+ Noobs minimum)

Wait if: Layer Bonus < 1.5× — the rebuild time will exceed the benefit

Noob Incremental Prestige FAQ

When should I prestige in Noob Incremental?

Prestige in Noob Incremental when your Layer Bonus multiplier exceeds 2–3× your current production rate. If the bonus is below 1.5×, keep grinding — the reset will cost more time than it saves. Use the Prestige Calculator on our homepage to estimate your break-even point.

What resets when I prestige in Noob Incremental?

Prestige in Noob Incremental resets your Oof balance, all purchased upgrades, and your Noob count. It does NOT reset your runes, Enchant Tokens, Layer Currency from previous prestiges, or permanent code bonuses like THANKS4JOINING Rune Luck.

What is Layer Currency in Noob Incremental?

Layer Currency is a permanent resource earned when you prestige in Noob Incremental. It provides a passive multiplier to all future Oof production. Layer Currency from each prestige stacks — your total Layer Currency bonus is the sum of all prestige rewards.

How many prestige layers are in Noob Incremental?

Noob Incremental currently has 4 prestige layers. Each layer introduces new mechanics: Layer 2 unlocks Runes, Layer 3 unlocks Rune Synergy, and Layer 4 opens endgame scaling. More layers may be added in future updates.

Should I prestige early in Noob Incremental?

No. Early prestige in Noob Incremental gives a tiny Layer Bonus that barely exceeds the time cost of rebuilding. Wait until you hit a hard progression wall where upgrades cost more than you can earn in a reasonable session. A good first prestige usually happens after 30–60 minutes of play.

Do runes carry over after prestige in Noob Incremental?

Yes. All runes, their levels, and Enchant Tokens survive prestige in Noob Incremental. This is why you should roll runes before prestige — start your next run with strong runes already equipped for faster rebuilding.
